BUSINESS BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Financial Times and McKinsey & Company Business Book of the Year Award Shortlist Announcement 2021 is to be held digitally on Thursday 23 September 2021.
This digital event, which will be hosted by Roula Khalaf, Editor of the Financial Times, and Virginia Simmons, Managing Partner - UK, Ireland & Israel, McKinsey & Company.
This digital event will commence with a debate on "The Next Reckoning: Preparing for a Resilient Future".
Joining the debate will be Mohamed El-Erian, Chief Economic Adviser to Allianz and President of Queens’ College, Cambridge, Rana Foroohar, Global Business Columnist, Financial Times, in conversation with Andrew Hill, Management Editor, Financial Times.

PRIZE
Please register your interest and submit your book proposal here here to be kept updated on the Bracken Bower Prize. You will receive additional useful information that will help you with your entry.
There are no restrictions of gender or nationality but the authors must be over 18 and under 35 years of age on 30 November 2021.
Entries will be accepted from authors who have had books published before.
Your proposal should take the form of an essay or article of no more than 5,000 words that conveys the argument, scope and style of a proposed full-length business book and includes a description of the structure of the proposed work.
The entry deadline is 30 September 2021 (11:59pm BST).
